Join us for a special flag-waving Canadian version of the BBC’s annual Last Night of the Proms concert! The fun-filled, audience-participation program includes such dyed-in-the-wool Proms favourites as Rule, Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory, and Jerusalem. Also on the bill is Québec composer Maxime Goulet’s diverting, literally tasty Symphonic Chocolates (sub-titled Orchestral Sweets in Four Flavours). Each of the four short movements evokes a different flavour of chocolate. The audience is invited to eat four small chocolates while each movement with a corresponding flavour is being played!
