Dear Friends of Toronto Summer Music,

The health and safety of our patrons, audience members, artists, fellows and staff is of utmost importance to Toronto Summer Music and we wanted to share with you our efforts in assessing the potential risks posed by COVID – 19.

We are monitoring the situation very closely and will continue to follow the advice of local, provincial and national public health officials in making decisions as required regarding the operations of Toronto Summer Music, including in respect of the 2020 Festival.

As you can understand, this is a rapidly changing situation and, considering that we are over 3 months away from the 2020 Festival, it is not possible to predict the effect of COVID – 19.  At this time, the Festival is scheduled to proceed and we will let you know as soon as possible if any changes or cancellations need to be made.

Single tickets will go on sale as originally planned on March 17 but for the foreseeable future will only be available for purchase online HERE.  Please support the Festival and purchase your tickets.   Your support during this uncertain time will help Toronto Summer Music continue to play an important role in our great City and internationally. If the Festival is cancelled, the Royal Conservatory of Music will refund 100% of the purchase price or convert it into a donation (less the RCM service fee) to Toronto Summer Music.

Toronto Summer Music will continue to work with our venue providers on implementing the best practices recommended by public health officials that are in place at the time of the Festival.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of TSM.  Together we can weather this storm. Stay well and we look forward seeing you at the Festival.

Jonathan Crow, Artistic Director
Vanessa Goymour, Executive Director
Sandra Forbes, Chair of the Board
