Kleztory embodies, with passion and virtuosity, the music originating from Eastern European shtetlech—small Eastern European villages or “ghettos” in Yiddish. Like the music they perform with brio, Kleztory is a rich mosaic of cultures and musical orientations (Russian, Québécois, Canadian), with different training (conservatory, self-taught) and diverse musical sensibilities (classical, contemporary, jazz, blues, traditional, country, and folk).
